The No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers bounced back with a 3-2 win over the No. 8 Michigan Wolverines at Yost Ice Arena on Sunday.
Dylan Holloway and Roman Ahcan each recorded a goal and assist to lead the Badger attack.
Holloway opened up the scoring at 8:51 in the first period.
Michigan’s Owen Power evened the score at 12:35 in the second, but the Badgers reclaimed the lead with a power play goal from Ahcan at 17:44.
Just 28 seconds into the third, the Badgers scored their third goal of the game after a rebound on a shot from Owen Lindmark bounced off Dominick Mersch and into the net.
The Wolverines pulled their goaltender with under three minutes remaining in the game and scored with the extra attacker, but the Badgers held on to win the series finale, 3-2.
