Iowa football greats coming to Davenport for Rally for Reid camp to fight pediatric cancer and teach football fundamentals to youth

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – After more than three years battling brain cancer, five-year-old Reid Gleeson died last October. To keep Reid’s legacy alive and fight childhood cancer, former Iowa soccer captain Jake Gervase created the Rally for Reid soccer camp.

Nine Iowa football greats from Gervase’s era with the Hawkeyes will be at the camp to teach the youth the basics of the game. All proceeds from the camp will be donated to the Rally for Reid Foundation to help fight childhood cancer and support families and children affected by it.

The camp will take place on June 27 in Davenport at the St. Vincent Athletic Complex.
