The seventh annual “Cardinals Strikeout Cancer” baseball game between Sun Prairie and Middleton is scheduled for June 10 in Middleton, according to a report from Middleton coach Brent Jorgensen.

Proceeds will go to American Family Children’s Hospital and benefit pediatric cancer research.

A ceremony starts at 4:30 PM on June 10, followed by the match at 5:00 PM

Honorees are Levi Enlow and Mattie Joers for Middleton and Cooper Perry and Jon Schmidt for Sun Prairie.

The event was started by Sun Prairie coach Rob Hamilton and former Middleton coach Tom Schmitt.

As part of this year’s event, the “Wilde and Tausch” radio show (100.5 FM) will be broadcast live from the Middleton High School parking lot and there will be radio (100.5 FM) and a streamed YouTube version (KSUN), according to the release . Germantown’s Kamorea Arnold selected for trials

According to a USA Basketball press release, 34 players will participate in the 2021 USA Basketball U16 national team competitions, which will compete for 12 roster places in Indianapolis, Indiana from June 13-16.

Twenty athletes from the 2023 class will participate, including Germantown’s Kamorea “KK” Arnold. She is the only Wisconsin player listed as a participant.
